A bit of a shame because we will likely not be back in Memphis again and this looked a nice place for breakfast but we didn't get to eat any of it. They removed the meal from the bill and I paid for the drinks and left a tip before leaving to go grab something quick from a store. The waitress was apologetic and the manager was also apologetic as well so that's why I've not put the review as terrible. The staff apologised and offered to recook the meals from fresh but we had now nearly wasted an hour and having a tour booked that day, we didn't have time for them to re cook it all over again. I'm fairly sure I saw the plates sitting in the kitchen waiting to be taken to us. The only issue then was that it was all stone cold. When the food did eventually arrive it all looked amazing and we couldn't wait to eat it. waited what felt like an eternity for the drinks to arrive and even though some people who arrived at the same time or after us had their finished plates taken away, ours had still not arrived. We ordered the Brisket Eggs Benedict and Crab Cakes. We arrived in here on sunday morning when visiting Memphis for a few days. I've worked in restaurants and it is hard work indeed. It's a shame but I genuinely don't like leaving negative reviews. It is conveniently located in walking distance from the Peabody hotel. This place is fun for a date night or a girls night. Their shrimp and grits were wonderful and unique with the hint of bbq sauce in the grits. Side note, in the evening there martinis are to die and I highly recommend the key lime pie martini with a graham cracker rim, yum! Watch for happy hour specials. Flight offers the finest service featuring a knowledgeable wait staff from which guests can gain valuable insight to enhance their dining experience. A great spot to hit for a late breakfast/early lunch. They use the same base waffle batter for their chicken and waffles with a piece of nice crunchy chicken that just melts in your mouth with flavor. A light crunchy waffle that tastes like an oreo is just amazing how they make it so subtle yet awesome. I’ve never had anything like this and to be honest it’s a sugar junkies dream. The oreo waffle as crazy as it sounds is a waffle. Just across the Peabody this place loaded with crazy waffles, benedict specialties, and whole variety brunch style foods. If it’s the weekend, you’re in Memphis, and brunch your thing then you must stop here.
