![]() ![]() We had egg drop soup and hot and sour soup. My husband and brother got beef with broccoli. It was chicken with the gravy sauce and panfried rice noodles. I got Hor fun which I showed a picture of it and they made. You may not get what you order but whatever you get the food will be good! My niece got the Lotus which she said was too spicy but I thought it was great! My sister-in-law got some kind of lo mein skinny noodles. Sadly that was one of the things they never brought. we get the check and we have to say "we didn't get this and we didn't get that." My sister-in-law was dying for some chicken feet. Also both times we have gone we didn't get the food we ordered. It is my sister-in-law from Suzhou China's favorite restaurant! Both times I have gone I thought the food was wonderful. So this is my second time eating at this restaurant. Like I said."If you want good dim sum go elsewhere !" More That was an outrageous sum for disgusting food. When I went to pay for this disaster of a dim sum lunch the cashier entered things into a computer which I could not see and eventually told me to pay $15.05. I was not offered a price list or informed a price of any item. I asked for water as a beverage in fear of trying their tea. A selection of pork dumpling was devoid of fresh pork flavor and could, again, be a frozen product. These were obviously low-quality frozen rolls, something I had never found in a dim sum house in my 50 years of enjoying dim sum (real dim sum, that is). A dim sum restaurant with no spring rolls on the carts? When it arrived I received three (remember I ordered one!) 4-inch fried "spring rolls" that were dripping in oil and consisted of several layers of skin filled with a 1/4-inch of mush that contained one or two stale flavored mini shrimp (in the 80-120 size range) and no discernible vegetables. ![]() Ten minutes later I called her and asked about the roll and she replied "they are cooking it now !). While eating that I asked the server for a spring roll. first choice from the cart was a small bowl of chopped chicken feet and other cartilaginous masses still attached to a short section of bone. My experience today was so disappointing that I conclude that the term "dim sum" has a completely different meaning at this establishment. I preface this by stating that I have eaten dim sum in San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City, and Montreal, Canada. Our family WILL NOT be returning since they don't appreciate our business. And NOT a single wait-staff has stopped by to inquire if we needed anything.ĭon't expect to receive a good tip! (we left ONE PENNY) Seriously? This is dim-sum! And there is this first table waiting for over 25 minutes WITHOUT ANY plate of food for over 25 minutes. By the time the carts EVENTUALLY make their way to the table, the dishes we wanted were gone - and we have waited an extra 10 minutes.Ĭurrently, been waiting sitting patiently at the table WITHOUT food for 25 minutes! ![]() And wait-staff WON'T take requests for orders - they have the audacity to tell us-customers to just WAIT for the carts. Ours was the first table to arrive at 10:30am on New Year's day - and 40 minutes later, still waiting for more food to exit the kitchen. there and not they should be grateful for your patronage. The ENTIRE wait-staff needs more training on how to take better care of their customers. However, I gave this restaurant 1-star to reflect the AWFUL service.
